This is Steam app 4151300, from Brickworks Games and HypeTrain Digital. It is not released. On 2026-10-13 the Steam page listed a Q1 2027 window, no price, and no user reviews. The store text and the official site describe a first-person remake of the 2008 adventure in which sound carries the story and the puzzles.

The open playtest runs from October 12 through October 25, 2026, and the announcements call it Chapter One. How to request access.

The current window is Q1 2027. A November 2025 announcement had said Fall 2026. The two statements, and the missing price.

These stay on their own pages: what the remake changes from 2008, the published PC specs, and the dated developer news.

Premise, as the official pages state it

The store text and the official site both describe a missing brother, a machine meant to reach the subconscious, and a place called the Flickering World. The official site calls the player character a writer. The store page calls the opening a visit to the brother's home. Both say sound is part of solving, not only part of the score. A chapter count, a puzzle solution, and a price are not on those pages. Those two pages are listed under Sources.
